In href="http://investor.ea.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=88189&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=809097&highlight=">a note sent to
investors, EA announced release dates for The Godfather: The Game on PS2, PC, and Xbox: March 21st for
North America and March 24th for Europe. The release only mentioned "later in 2006" for the 360 and href="http://www.pspfanboy.com/2006/01/26/godfather-gets-a-date-breaks-psps-legs/">PSP, however.

It’s
nice to know that href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/01/19/next-gen-version-of-eas-godfather-still-sleepin-wit-da-fishes/">the 360 version
wasn’t cancelled, but we’re curious as to what updates to the game will be made when the next-gen and portable
versions are finally ready to
be released
, presumably before the end of this year.

To further celebrate the announcement (or
non-announcement) of release dates, check out href="http://www.ea.com/official/godfather/godfather/us/screenshots.jsp?setID=Created%20Character">a few new
screenshots to wet your whistle.
