Hot HOTPXL screenshot builds anticipation

Could this be the beginning of an Atari
comeback? The screenshot above comes from upcoming Atari PSP game seductively titled HOTPXL. Think of it as a
dirtier, grittier  version of Warioware for the metropspexual set. It’ll supposedly have hundreds of tiny
(5-second) games and longer-form boss games infused with “digital street culture.” Looks fun, sounds creative.
Here’s to hoping Atari delivers.

Due this fall.

Talent Opposes Missouri’s Stem Cell Initiative

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006

Sen. Jim Talent (R-MO) came out yesterday against a proposed ballot initiative that would protect stem cell research and treatment in Missouri, according to Hotline On Call. His opponent, Claire McCaskill (D), supports the initiative.

It’s not yet clear how Talent’s decision will affect his chances of being reelected. “Those who argue that Republicans can’t win in Missouri with an unexcited social conservative base will argue that Talent took a step in the right direction as far as re-election is concerned. A Missouri Democrat will argue that the GOP erosion in the suburbs will continue thanks to Talent’s decision.”

The Kansas City Star notes "Talent’s stand on stem-cell research has taken some confusing twists."
