Tom Cruise picks his next project and it’s perfect! LIONS FOR LAMBS!

Tuesday, November 14th, 2006

Hey Folks, Harry here… You know - right after the split/firing/whatever you wanna call it… when Tom Cruise and Paramount split ways, I received calls from numerous publications trying to get me to kick at the alleged “cinematic cadaver” of Tom Cruise - and frankly, I just couldn’t kick.

Why?

I’ve never met the man, but over the years his constant exquisite choice in who he works with has left me stunned in admiration. Here’s a sample: J.J. Abrams, Spielberg, Michael Mann, Ed Zwick, Cameron Crowe, Paul Thomas Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Neil Jordan, John Woo, Brian DePalma, Sydney Pollack, Rob Reiner, Ron Howard, Tony Scott, Oliver Stone, Barry Levinson, Ridley Scott, Paul Brickman, Curtis Hanson and Francis Ford Coppola. Look at that list of directors that have chosen to work with Tom, and who in turn Tom has chosen to work with. That list is a Who’s Who of the greatest living directors - and that’s what I told the publications that reached out to me, to kick Tom.
