Merrick here…

A few weeks back, hundreds of thousands of Geeks across the world spontaneously ejaculated (in unison, no less) with the release of one simple image of Harrison Ford…in costume…sitting in a chair…behind the scenes of INDIANA JONES AND THE RE-RAIDERS OF THE LOST-BUT-FOUND-BUT-POSSIBLY-LOST-AGAIN ARK (MAYBE).

If that got people going, what’ll happen when they see…

Mammoth Herds!! Prehistoric Ostriches!! Roland Emmerich!! It Must Be A 10,000 B.C. Trailer And Way Advance Review!!

Merrick here…

I’ve been really curious about this film for some time, and appreciate the irony / symmetry of our first test screening review arriving on the same day the trailer is unveiled.

I heard about this film a while back & didn’t know what to expect. Like all things Emmerich, this seems to have a great look and heaps of audacity…qualities I consistently appreciate in the director.
Nonetheless, this is strange territory for any filmmaker, and many folks have tried and failed to walk this road in the past.

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

Merrick here…

Toxicboy just called our attention to a little trafficked YouTube posting.

It appears to be a completely re-worked opening title sequence for the forthcoming “Final Cut” / restoration / tweaking / re-edit / re-visitation / whatever-you-want-to-call-it of BLADE RUNNER.

I came across this on Youtube. I seems to be new titles for Blade Runner the Final Cut. I hadn’t heard that they were replacing the titles, but I think I really like them….they are different, and I’m still trying to figure out what it all means, but if this is a fake it is an awfully SLICK fake, too slick; I think they might be real.
